FAQs
-
Within 48 hours of purchase (usually much sooner!), you will receive an email invitation to a new Squarespace site. Once you click "Accept," the site will be instantly added to your Squarespace dashboard as a new trial.
-
To get started, you’ll just need a Squarespace account to receive the site transfer. You’ll also need your website copy, images, and branding assets like your logo, hex codes, and fonts, to swap out the placeholder content.
-
Every template includes a comprehensive Launch Kit with resources & video tutorials walking you through the setup. If you run into a technical snag with the template itself, you can reach out to our support team at contact@makeandhue.co.uk. For general "how-to" Squarespace questions, their 24/7 chat support is also fantastic.
-
You do not need a subscription to start with but to go live, you’ll need an active Squarespace plan.
Perk: Because we are a Squarespace Circle member, your trial is extended to 3 months, giving you plenty of time to build before you have to pay a monthly fee.
-
The template is delivered as a new site as you cannot "apply" a new template directly to an existing site We offer a Custom Installation service where I will manually install the template pages directly into your existing website. This allows you to keep your current subscription and domain settings exactly as they are while giving your site a complete, premium makeover.
-
Absolutely. Every part of the template is fully customisable, allowing you to swap out the placeholder content for your own brand imagery, custom color palette, and unique fonts. You have total control to adjust the layout and styling within Squarespace until it feels like a perfect reflection of your brand.
-
Not at all. These templates are built to be entirely user-friendly using Squarespace’s visual drag-and-drop editor. While some designs may include minor CSS modifications to achieve a specific look, these are clearly labelled in your guide so you can easily identify or remove them if you choose.
-
Beyond the one-time template purchase, you will need an active Squarespace subscription (starting at $16/month) and a custom domain name to launch your site. Most annual Squarespace plans include a free domain for the first year, but you should also factor in small optional costs like professional email or third-party app integrations if your business requires them.
-
Because our templates are digital products and are "delivered" via a site transfer, we cannot offer refunds once the site has been sent. Please browse the live demos and ask any questions before purchasing—we want to make sure you love your choice!
-
Yes! If you love the template but don't have the time to DIY, check out our Template Customisation Service. We can take your text and images and have your site ready for launch in as little as [Number] days.
THE TEMPLATE SETUP SERVICE
Love the template, but want someone else to handle the setup?
With our Website in a Week service, we take your chosen template, customise it with your brand colours, drop in your content, and hand you a fully launched, ready-to-go site.
